There will also be an opportunity to order a lunch from McMorran's award winning standard menu. Following lunch, at 2:00 p.m., we will take an hour and a half driving tour. SWAP MEET VOLUNTEERS NEEDED .... JUNE 27, 2010 Once again, we’re calling for volunteers to help with the swap meet
and inside concession on Saturday, June 26, and Sunday, June 27. It takes a lot
of our Chapter’s members to make the meet a success. Family members are welcome
to assist as well. For that matter, we’re most appreciative of help from any
sources. Most of the shifts are only 2 hours. I’ll have sign-up sheets at the
Feb, March, April and May Chapter meetings or, please phone Dave and Becky at
250 656 3382 if you’d like to do the same job as last year or if you’d like a
change. It is through the success of the swap meet that the Chapter has been able to keep the dues at $5.00 as well as provide the summer barbecue and subsidize the Corn Roast and Annual Banquet. We are planning a Club Stall at the swap meet again this year. As well as providing club information, members with 6 or less items to sell, can display them here. Of course, we are needing volunteers to staff this function. Please sign up as soon as you can. The
Victoria Chapter of the VCCC is family oriented, and promotes and encourages
family participation by all its members and their families in all activities. We
are celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2010! From 20 members at the
start, we have now number close to 100.
We
invite you to come to one of our Chapter's Regular Meetings as a guest, or join
us on a Sunday Tour. Regular meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month,
executive meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month and tours take place
on the 2nd Sunday following the general meetings.

| Chapter Meetings Sunday Runs |
1st Tuesday of the month at St. Luke's Church hall, 3821 Cedar Hill X Rd. 7:30 PM. Sunday Tours are usually held on the second Sunday after the Regular Meeting. We meet at 1 pm at the parking lot at the Forestry Centre on West Burnside (between Interurban and McKenzie), and leave for the tour at 1:30. Most tours last approx. 2-3 hrs and we usually have a coffee stop at the end of the tour. | |
