Another warm and sunny Sunday for the
Annual Corn Roast.
The beautiful weather brought out a large
gathering of members
and their families and friends; and a very good showing of vintage cars.

The
food (corn, hot dogs and ice cream) was delicious as usual. It
was nice to see some new members, as well as our regular attendees.
Heritage
Acres is a work in progress and everyone is always impressed with the
changes and improvements that is evidenced each time the Club comes to
an event. Congratulations to the volunteers at Heritage Acres who
continue to work so hard to make this site so interesting and yet
family-friendly.

The
volunteers from the Vancouver Island Model Engineers were on hand to
provide train rides for those folks wishing to "ride the rails"!
|
A big
thank you to the
crew from Heritage Acres and the Club members who readily volunteered and
especially to our committee heads, Dave and Judy Wallace.
