Another warm and sunny Sunday for the Annual Coarn Roast.
The beautiful weather brought out the usual wasps; as well as a large gathering of members
and their families and friends; and a very good showing of vintage cars.
|
The
food (corn, hot dogs and ice cream) was delicious as usual. It
was nice to see some new members, as well as our regular attendees.
New member, Chris Bauer, brought his restoration project -- and received some useful tips and information from fellow members.
Heritage Acres is such a wonderful venue for showing off our treasured
vintage cars -- congratulations to the volunteers at Heritage Acres who
continue to work hard to make this site so interesting and yet
family-friendly.

The
volunteers from the Vancouver Island Model Engineers were on hand to
provide train rides for those folks wishing to "ride the rails"!
|
A big
thank you to the
crew from Heritage Park, the Club members who readily volunteered and
especially to our committee heads, Dave and Judy Wallace and Marc Brown.
