What a difference a year makes ....
this year’s Corn Roast was back to normal -- sunny and warm!!
The beautiful weather brought a large gathering of members
and their families and friends; and a very good showing of vintage cars.

The
food (corn, hot dogs and ice cream) was delicious as usual. It
was nice to see some past members and members that we don’t often see.
Members enjoyed seeing Cai Brown and his recently restored 1947 Ford
tractor making the rounds of Heritage Acres -- what a fitting
environment to show off his handiwork.

The
volunteers from the Vancouver Island Model Engineers were on hand to
provide train rides for those folks wishing to "ride the rails"!
|
A big
thank you to the
crew from Heritage Park, the Club members who readily volunteered and
especially to our committee heads, Dave and Judy Wallace and Marc Brown.
