Paul Taylor decided to take an old
Sunday Run from August 2002
and redesigned and update it a little bit for today's run. ![]() |

The route took about 60 minutes and 15 miles. The weather was cool -- typical of Fall -- possibility of showers. There were 16 cars (6 vintage and 10 modern) and 28 people. |
The
route started on West Burnside Road. Followed Tillicum Rd. into
Esquimalt. Around Gosper Cresc., Tillicum Rd. to Craigflower
Rd. Then over into Victoria, via Tyee Rd., Songhees Rd. around
the Inner Harbour. Back back to Esquimalt Rd. via Kimta Rd. and
Saghalie Rd. Across the Johnson St. Bridge to Wharf St. and up Fort St, through downtown. |

We
made circle around Pentrelew Place, onto Wilspencer Pl. and Moss St.
past the Art Gallery. The route followed Bond St., Windermere
Pl., Masters Rd. to Fairfield Rd. Past Ross Bay Cemetery to St.
Charles St., Ross St. and Crescent Road. Followed Crescent Rd. down around Harling Point, near the Chinese Cemetery (Quimper St., Maquinna St., Lorne Terr.). Then back to Crescent Rd. to Foul Bay Road. |
We
followed Fairfield Rd. to Denison Rd., Sylvan Lane -- back to
Fairfileld Rd., Mountjoy Ave., Foul Bay Rd. and Cadboro Bay Rd.
We turned onto Cranmore Rd., Hampshire Rd. to Musgrave St. Into Uplands on Dorset Rd., Nottingham Rd., Lansdowne Rd. to Midland Rd. We drove around the circle (which was the old streetcar terminus) onto Cotswold Rd., back up to Cadboro Bay Rd, and Cedar Hill X Rd. |

We turned onto Henderson Rd./University Drive, into the University of Victoria, and drove around the big circle -- Ring Road. Then off home ..... Thanks to Paul Taylor for another interesting drive. |
