Our October Sunday Run was attended by 39 people, driving 21 cars, 17 of which were vintage.  |

| The
route designed by Paul & Liz Taylor left the Forestry Centre
and headed west along West Burnside to Helmcken Road, to the Island
Highway. Then onto the Six Mile Road to Atkins Road, Winster
Road, Hoffman Avenue to Veterans Memorial Parkway. Turning onto Bear Mountain Parkway, we went up and over the mountain -- enjoying great views of Mt. Finlayson, Strait of Georgia, Olympic Mountains and Victoria. |

Coming
down the mountain, onto Leigh Road and across Highway #1. Along
Dunford and Jacklin to Langford Parkway -- around the traffic circles
to Westshore Parkway.
This took us to Sooke Road and we headed back to Luxton Road, Happy Valley Road and Metchosin Road. |
After a slight detour around Duke Road, we carried on to Metchosin Road -- with more great views of Mt. Baker and Victoria from Royal Bay -- and then to Sooke Road. Our destination was the Royal Roads Cafe, where most of the folks stopped off for refreshments and fellowship. |
