The October Sunday Run was attended by 38 people, driving 22 cars, 14 of which were vintage.

It was another lovely Autumn day in Victoria -- perfect for Sunday afternoon cruisin'.

The 60-minute route left the Forestry Centre and took us for a nice drive along West Burnside, Grange and Interurban.  With a lovely scenic deviation, we drove on Hector and Conway, returning to Interurban.  The route then headed out to the Peninsula, via W. Saanich, Wallace, Mount Newton X Road.

Up and over Mount Newton, and then up and through Dean Park -- with terrific views of the Strait of Georgia, James Island and Sidney Island.  The drive also treated us to views of Saanich Inlet, Mill Bay and the Malahat.

The route ended up at the Victoria Airport, with most folks stopping off at the Spitfire Grill -- for refreshments and fellowship.

The scenery was magnificent -- with the trees still proudly showing off their Fall colours.

Thanks to Bill Nicolson and Reg Potts for
organizing this delightful Autumn run.
