This October Sunday Run was attended by 36 people (representing 20 memberships), driving 16 vintage cars.

The original "GHOSTLY TOUR" was postponed
due to road closures for the Good Life Fitness Victoria Marathon, but the Vinettes led us on a delightful alternative route, which showcased some of Victoria's most beautiful tree-lined avenues -- resplendent in their Fall colours.

It was a perfect afternoon -- sunny and bright.  Some folks were brave enough to have their tops down!!

The route left the Forestry Centre and took us along West Burnside and Helmcken -- which was absolutely magnificent with the beautiful red maples lining the street on both sides.

We then following Pheasant Lane, Burnett to Old Island Highway, around to Six Mile and Atkins Road -- which was another amazing site -- gorgeous yellow and gold leaves on display for quite a distance.

We carried on around Selwyn and Strandlund to Veterans' Memorial Parkway, which is also tree-lined and lovely.  The route then followed Cairndale, Stornoway, Wishart, Dressler, Painter, Cotlow and Metchosin Road -- driving past the old gravel pit and seeing the beginnings of the huge new development there.

We then followed Pears, Sundance, Glen Forest out to Happy Valley Road -- then a short jaunt on Latoria to our destination:  OLYMPIC VIEW GOLF CLUB.

The Vinettes has arranged a very pleasant coffee stop for us -- in our own separate room -- complete with coffee and tea and yummy muffins.

We had a large room with a view of the golf course and the sun was streaming in the windows, making it bright and cheerful.

A big thank you to the VINETTES, for providing
a great run under difficult circumstances.

P.S.  We hope to be able to enjoy the original "GHOSTLY TOUR" sometime in the future!!
