On
a dark and wet Sunday afternoon, 39 people met at the Pacific
Forestry Centre for our November Run. There were 3 vintage cars
and 16 modern cars.
Because
the destination of today's run was out on the Saanich Peninsula, a
number of folks decided to just meet us at the British Columbia
Aviation Museum.
There was no Drivers' Meeting because everyone was huddled in their
cars!! And the route was a simple and quick run, straight to the
museum.

Richard
Johnson's driving route took us out West Burnside Road and down
Marigold to Interurban Road. Then along Wilkinson to West
Saanich, Wallace Drive to East Saanich Road. Onto Canora Road to
Norseman Road and the BC Aviation Museum.
Forty people had pre-registered for this tour and the volunteer staff were waiting to give us a 60-minute tour of the facility.

Folks
who hadn't been there in awhile noticed quite a change -- lots of
displays have been added, as the volunteers continue their dedicated
restoration work.
Richard had arranged for a separate section at Mary's Bleue Moon Cafe,
but due to a mix-up, some folks were turned away and found their own
refreshment stop -- some at The Roost. Sixteen members and guests
enjoyed the hospitality at the Cafe.

Thank you to RICHARD JOHNSON
for organizing this great run and tour.
And thanks to Paul Taylor for the photos.
