The
Victoria Chapter kicked off 2011 with our Annual New Year's Day
Run. It started at the
usual place (Pacific Forestry Centre on West Burnside Road), under
bright sunny skies, albeit slightly chilly weather.
Attendance was outstanding: 45 chapter members, totalling 94
people, including 6 people from the Cowichan Valley Chapter. 45
vintage vehicles were brought out and made the run.

Run
organizers Brent Morrison and Pete Seward added several new twists to
the traditional
"round the waterfront" drive, leading everyone from the meeting
place -- through Esquimalt, Vic West, downtown Victoria, James Bay,
Dallas Road, Oak Bay and back into town -- to the Reception Centre
at McCall Bros. Funeral Home
for
refreshments. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate were served, in
addition to veggie trays and donuts.
