St. Patrick's Day turned into a grand day for a Sunday Run. A bright,
sunny and warm day brought out a good attendance.

There were 37 people (representing 25 memberships) participating in the run --
including 19 vintage cars and 4 modern cars.

Jane
and Gordie's route was pretty straight forward: along West
Burnside to McKenzie; all the way to Blenkinsop Road, which becomes
Cordova Bay Road.
We followed that until it becomes Fowler Road, then Sayward Road and across the Pat Bay Highway to Hamsterley Road.
|

|
We
carried on along Brookleigh Road to Oldfield Road; then to Keating X
Road and Veyaness Road. East Saanich Road took us out to the
Victoria Airport and we went around the airport via Canora Road, Ocean
Avenue, Stirling Way, Beacon Avenue, Mills Road, West Saanich Road. A
turn onto Willingdon Road brought us to our destination: Spitfire
Grill.

Thanks to Jane & Gordie Thomas for
organizing an awfully good Sunday Run.
...... Wherever you go and whatever you do, may the luck of the Irish be there with you.
|
33 people stopped off to share food, drink and fellowship, along with great views of the airport activities.
