Sunday Run ~ organized by
Paul Taylor

March2011_1

Although the weather seemed to discourage vintage vehicles, members were game for a drive. A total of 18 members, 4 driving vintage, and 29 people followed Paul Taylor around the far reaches of the peninsula. Paul used this run as timing practice for a drive he’s planning for the Red Carpet Tour this coming July.

All agreed it was a nice drive and, in fact, we didn’t encounter a great deal of rain along the way. We did however see many muddy fields (those poor daffodil pickers) and some high water as we drove along Prospect Lake Road.

We ended our drive at the White Spot on Mt. Newton X Road where the staff greeted us promptly and cheerfully. Most of us enjoyed a late lunch or early dinner. All in all, a worthwhile way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Thanks to Paul Taylor for coordinating this one.

Thanks also to Terry Seward for this Sunday Run report.
