This was our first Sunday Run of 2021 and the first run after the Covid hiatus.
On a beautiful Sunday, which happened to be Father's Day too, 29 people assembled at our
usual meeting place. There were 15 cars, of which 11 were vintage. |
Paul and Liz Taylor's run took us along West Burnside, Wilkinson
to
West Saanich Road. Then we headed out to the Saanich Peninsula, along Old
W. Saanich, Sparton, Old W. Saanich to West Saanich Road.
Then, we drove along Ardmore Drive, and around to West Saanich Road
again. We circled around the Deep Cove loop: Downey Rd.,
Madrona Dr., Birch Rd, Chalet Rd. and Tatlow Road.

Back to West Saanich Road -- to Lauren Rd., Alder Rd., Hillgrove Rd., Eagle Way, Hedgerow Drive to Lands End Road.
After returning to Highway 17, today's tour officially ended at the Tourist Rest stop.
Whilst no official coffee stop was organized, a number of coffee stops were offered to participants. It was noted that many places were booked up because of Father's Day.
