It was a nice warm day for our July Sunday Run.
Heinz organized this run -- to be a gentle run but with a few tests
thrown in for good measure .... all in good fun and no one got lost!!
It
was noted that there was plenty of competition for participation in
this month's run -- the 2014 World Cup Final, the HCCA Red Carpet Tour
and just general summer activities. Despite these events, our run
was supported by 22 people, in 9 vintage cars and 4 modern cars. |
Heinz's
route was 18 miles long and took about 50 minutes to drive. We
headed out to Colwood, Langford, Esquimalt Lagoon and back through View
Royal, following Craigflower to the Gorge Vale Golf Course for
refrehsments in the lovely air-conditioned clubhouse Dining Room.

The fine weather encouraged most folks to ride with their convertible tops down.

Most folks stayed to socialize and
enjoy the refreshments available.
