The image above shows what we all wished the weather would be like for our January Sunday Run.

However, the reality was quite different -- we experienced a little bit of everything -- from glimpses of sunshine to pouring down rain.  But .... the dedicated members dusted off their modern cars and came anyway.

There was a moderately good turn-out:  38 people in 11 vintage cars and 12 modern cars.

Bill Bouchard's route took us passed Swan Lake and along Quadra Street, Cook Street, Finlayson to Shelbourne.

Then we  drove on Lansdowne Road to Cadboro Bay Road, and down through the Village.  We circled Ten Mile Point (Seaview, Tudor, McAnally, Smuggler's Cove, Baynes and back to Tudor).

Telegraph Bay Road and Arbutus took us into Gordon Head, where we past the home of Gordie and Jane on Ferndale Road.  Leaving Gordon Head and passing through Mt. Doug Park and on to Cordova Bay Road, we reached our destination -- Bill Mattick's Restaurant at the Cordova Bay Golf Course, where a separate area had been reserved for our Club.

Thanks to Bill Bouchard for another
note-worthy drive -- Ten Mile Point
has some fabulous views, as well as
    some lovely homes and gardens.
