Sunday Run ~ organized by
Pete & Terry Seward

Jan2010a

On a typical winter day in Victoria, we gathered at the Pacific Forestry Centre to prepare for our January Run. The wind was brisk but the predicted rain never materialized.  There was a good turn-out of 22 cars, 18 of which were vintage.

Pete and Terry Seward's route led us from the Forestry Centre to UVic, down to Cadboro Bay, around Ten Mile Point, around Gordon Head to Cordova Bay, then back through Broadmead to Cedar Hill and Brannigan's restaurant.

This run took about 1 1/2 hours and participants were treated to spectacular views of the ocean and Olympic Mountains from various spots along the route, as well as some gorgeous homes in the Ten Mile Point and Broadmead areas.  The route even took members on some roads that some folks had never been on before.

Most people stopped for coffee and a visit at the restaurant.  Thanks to Pete & Terry for another great run.
