	It was a rather cloudy afternoon for today's run -- but the rain that had been present during the morning, had moved on -- leaving us with a dull but warm afternoon. Whilst there was a pretty good turnout of members, vintage cars were in somewhat short supply. There were 10 vintage cars and 12 modern cars, with a total of 36 people in attendance.
Don & Dolores' route took us along McKenzie and Glanford to Quadra Street. We then headed through Broadmead -- along Chatterton Way and Royal Oak Drive. A drive along Cordova Bay was next, taking us past Mattick's Farm and along Fowler and Sayward Road. A short jaunt on the Pat Bay Highway and then off on Old East Road, to Dooley, Welch and Martindale -- through the heart of the farmland of the Peninsula. Lochside Drive took us to Island View Road and down to a short stop at Island View Beach.
	Back up Island View Road, across the Pat Bay Highway, onto Saanich X Road, Central Saanich Road, Keating X Road to Oldfield Road. Turning onto Sean Road, Bryn Road and Verling Road -- took us past the old Butler Airfield -- no sign of it anymore!! Down the hill to Old West Saanich Road and right on West Saanich Road -- took us to our refreshment stop -- Sassy's Family Rstaurant, where a separate section had been reserved for us.
Don & Dolores passed out Valentine treats -- special cupcakes and strawberries. Most folks stayed for food and fellowship. Thanks to Don & Dolores Stevens for an interesting run -- including a couple of roads that most folks had never been on before!!
