The
weather was terrific for today's run -- Victoria has been experiencing
a very mild and sunny late-Winter, early-Spring, this year.
This beautiful weather encouraged many members to dust off their vintage cars and bring them along for the drive.
There were 30 vintage cars on the tour, along with 4 modern vehicles -- totalling 46 people.

The Rogers' route took us out to the Old Island Highway, passing by the casino and the many car dealerships along The Strip.
The tour worked its way out to Happy Valley Road, following it to
Latoria Road. This took us past Olympic View Golf Course and onto
Veterans' Memorial Parkway, and then heading towards Victoria on the
Trans Canada Highway.
We turned off at Tillicum and followed that all the way past Gorge Vale
Golf Course and onto Lampson Street and then Head Street.

Esquimalt
Road led us to the old Blue Bridge and Johnson Street. All the up
Johnson Street to Cook and then Faithful Street and Moss Street.
We then followed Dallas Road along to Monterey. The route
zigzagged through Oak Bay and ended up on Oak Bay Avenue -- which we
followed to Pandora and then Blanshard Street.
A right turn off Blanshard Street onto Cloverdale and a quick right
turn onto Maple brought us to our destination -- the Accent Inn.

Lots of parking for our old cars and folks were invited to stop off in their Breakfast Room for coffee and fellowship.
Thanks to Dave and Becky Rogers for a lovely run to celebrate Valentine's Day!!
