Karen and David Hilder took their
Sunday Run from November 2019
and redesigned it a little bit for today's run. .  Folks had requested that the Hilders re-run this route, but in the summer-time .... so here we go!! |

The route took about 50 minutes. The weather was just perfect for a cruise in a convertible -- and there were 8 of those on hand. 14 vintage cars and 2 modern cars participated, totalling 26 people. |
The route started on Burnside Rd. West to Marigold, Carey, Wilkinson to West Saanich Rd. Then onto Old West Saanich Rd., Keating, Knott Way, Greig to Wallace Drive. Onto Hagan to Verdier in downtown Brentwood Bay. Verdier becomes Early, onto Stelly's, East Saanich to Haldon. |

Haldon leads up and over Mt. Newton -- becomes Thomson. The route ended on Mount Newton X Road. A big thank you to Karen and David Hilder for showing us the Saanich Peninsula -- great scenic drive among the rural areas.  |
