Another fine summer afternoon -- great for cruising in our old cars. There was a good attendance of members and vintage cars -- taking into account it is summer, etc. -- 39 people in 17 vintage cars and 4 modern cars. Thirty-two people stayed afterwards at the White Spot for food, milkshakes and other treats.
Paul & Liz planned this route to "drive on roads that can't make up their minds what to be called"!! Hence the title of the run: Dazed & Confused. We headed out on West Burnside and then onto Harriet Road (which becomes Boleskine Rd., then becomes Saanich Rd., then becomes Tattersall Dr.). We turned onto Blenkinsop Rd. (which was Maplewood Rd.), which then becomes Cordova Bay Rd., then becomes Fowler Rd., then becomes Sayward Rd.
	After crossing the Pay Bay Highway, we followed Hamsterly, Brookleigh, Oldfield, Brookhaven, Old West Saanich to West Saanich Rd. We turned onto Mt. Newton X Rd. and turned up Thomson Pl., which becomes Haldon Rd. -- an interesting drive up and over Mount Newton. At the bottom of the mountain, we followed East Saanich, Leal, Emard, Moxon, Amity and Bourne Terr. which becomes Central Saanich Rd.
We ended up back on Mt. Newton X Road and then to the White Spot -- where their private room was awaiting us. Thirty-two people stayed for food and felllowship. Thanks to our route organizers, Paul & Liz Taylor, for finding some roads that a few folks had never been on before.
