	The weather was warm and sunny -- which was perfect for our August 13th Sunday Run. There was a good attendance of members and vintage cars -- taking into account it is summer, etc. -- 31 people in 13 vintage cars and 5 modern cars. Seventeen people stayed afterwards at the Dairy Queen for various treats.
Richard Johnson planned the route to pass by or through as many local parks as possible: nine parks were identified. We left the parking lot, along West Burnside Road, McKenzie, Saanich Road to Boleskine, which becomes Harriet Road. We then travelled through the Burnside/Gorge area, crossing the Gorge Bridge into Esquimalt and the Kinsmen Gorge Park. The route took us along Craigflower, Skinner and Bay Street, all the way to Richmond Road.
	We then headed in Oak Bay, along Fort Street, Cadboro Bay Road, and into the heart of Uplands. We meandered over to UVic and did a circle of Ring Road, leading up Mayfair Drive to Mount Tolmie. Back down to Richmond Road, Lansdowne, Shelbourne, Myrtle and Shakespeare -- right into the Dairy Queen parking lot.
