The
Victoria Chapter of the VCCC had been invited to participate in the
Ragley Farm 100th Anniversary celebration, on August 19th, 2012.
The weather was great and we understand that approximately 400 people attended this very special event.
There was a modest turnout of Chapter members: 14 members in 12
vintage cars; as well as a fellow member from the Nanaimo Chapter and
one from the Okanagan Chapter.

Pete Seward's route was fairly straight forward -- taking us along
Burnside Road West, McKenzie Avenue, Admirals Road to the Old Island
Highway. It carried on through View Royal and Colwood, onto Sooke
Road. Then on Metchosin Road, William Head Road, Taylor Road,
Rocky Point Road and East Sooke Road.

Ragley's 100th anniversary, an action-packed day had been planned,
including:
Vintage Car display, Vintage Apron Collection display (see photo to
left), Ragley Artifacts Society Display, Tours of the Farm House,
Gourmet picnic lunches and Tea Room, an amazing line-up of local
musicians and peformers on the Studebaker Stage (see photo below).
