2012 Annual Awards & Christmas Banquet

Grace was given by Tom Fisher, followed by an orderly transition to the buffet tables, for a delicious selection of salad bar and hot entrees, with roast beef sliced by the Chef. Then, if all of that wasn't enough, there was the overflowing dessert table.

After dinner, "Bernie & Red" (who resembled The Queen) provided a very polished selection of songs, full-blown humour and lively involvement by the guests. There was plenty of laughter during this part of the evening.

Beautiful white poinsettias were given to each couple as they were leaving -- to help brighten their homes for the season.

Thanks to Bill Bouchard for capably handling the MC duties this year.

Special thanks to Joan Huddeston and her helper, Jane Thomas, for all their time and effort in organizing this wonderful event.

At the conclusion of the entertainment, it was time for the Awards presentations.....

On Sunday, December 2, 2012, the Victoria Chapter held its Annual Awards & Christmas Banquet at The Embassy Inn in James Bay. A royal banquet for sure, with a good group of guests and a queenly start for a great evening of good food, entertainment and awards. Our evening proceeded with all guests standing as The Queen regally entered the room. She then proceeded to entertain us with her tasty tidbits of joviality.
